Another old house update in far North Dallas. This home had heavy wooden trim surrounding two windows and inset shutters on two others. We removed the trim and built out the insets in order to put the right size shutters on all of the windows. Using shutters with no mid rails and going to a light color completed the transition from a dark and plain elevation to a cleaner more modern look.
