Virtually Better grew from the collaborative research of its founders, Barbara Rothbaum and Larry Hodges, in the early 1990′s. Rothbaum, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Director of Trauma and Anxiety Recovery Program at the Emory University School of Medicine. Larry F. Hodges, Ph.D., formerly with the Georgia Institute of Technology, is now the C. Tycho Howle Chair and Director of the School of Computing at Clemson University.
