Eventually, once I completed my graduate work, I decided to go out on a limb and test this thing out full-time. I branched out and began traveling to major cultural and arts festival across the nation and opened a cultural shop in Decatur, GA in 2003. I eventually had to close the store due to several break-ins but I continued with festivals and opened an online culture store that same year, '03, offering headwraps exclusively. After several years on the road, my client base increased as many became aware of an incredibly large variety of handmade headwraps that I offer (my Baby for real!).
