🧱✨ Lego Land Week just got a WHOLE lot better! ✨🧱

A huge thank you one of our parents for bringing in all the fun building Legos for our little engineers to enjoy! They have been absolutely in heaven creating their own towns, neighborhoods, roads, and imaginative worlds all day long.

Watching their creativity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and imaginations come to life through play has been so much fun. From tiny houses to giant towers, each creation is unique and tells its own story!

We are so thankful for families who help make our classroom experiences even more special. ❤️🏗️🧱

🚒 COMMUNITY HELPERS WEEK! 🚒

Yesterday, we had a very special guest from our very own Decatur Fire Department!

She spent time teaching the kiddos all about fire safety, including:

🔥 Stop, Drop, and Roll
🔥 The number to call in an emergency
🔥 Staying low to the ground when escaping a fire
🔥 Having a designated family meeting spot once everyone is safely outside

The kids were so engaged! They had lots of questions to ask and were excited to share all the things they already knew. 😂 It was such a fun and educational experience!

A huge thank you to Katie (one of our scholars moms) for coordinating this special visitor for our class. We appreciate you! 🫶🏼

📬 Today, we welcomed another community helper, our very own mail carrier, Mrs. Lisa, came to visit and share about her important job! I’ll share those photos, soon!

Tomorrow, we have Decatur Police Department coming and the kiddos are very excited about that one! 👮
