Richard’s daughter, Caroline, graduated cm laude from Samford University on Friday, May 1, 2026, with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is going to continue her education at Samford pursuing a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Melanie’s son, Elijah, graduated magna cm laude from the University of North Alabama on Saturday, May 9, 2026, with a Bachelor of Science in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology. He is excited to start his engineering job in June.
