What does a firefighter notice when trying
AirBoss for the first time?
For Lonnie, it started with the fit.
“I feel like I could work through a full bottle
without my shoulders starting to hurt.”
Then came the regulator connection, designed
to swivel without binding, and the heads-up
display:
“It’s like right there in your face. I like it.”
Sometimes the little details make a big
difference when you’re wearing an SCBA on the
fireground.

We sat down with Kevin McCart, South Central Regional Manager for Key Hose , to talk about what sets their hose apart. Two standouts: the TRU-ID 2.25, a lighter, more maneuverable 265 GPM EPDM hose that's replacing 2.5" crosslays across the country, and the Combat Sniper, the industry-standard nitrile PVC hose built for 150 to 185 GPM at higher pressure and forgiving for the whole crew on the line.

Kevin also shares how their "Education Is Key" program helps departments understand what to expect when the water starts flowing.

An American firefighter’s perspective, straight
from the try-on.
Meet Lonnie from Arizona. At FDIC, we asked
what mattered in an SCBA, helped fit AirBoss,
and invited candid feedback.
“It feels pretty much like my other pack, but it
feels a lot better in the shoulder area.”

American firefighters. More perspectives. More
