On Day 11, select members of the Heart & Heritage Crew stepped into the spotlight for Ghana's iconic Flying Red Dress Experience and Chief Photo Shoot. From makeup and styling to traditional regalia and flowing gowns, each image captured elegance, strength, and the beauty of reconnecting with our heritage.

These weren't just photos. They were statements of pride, transformation, and belonging.

As the dresses danced with the Ghanaian breeze and traditional attire honored ancestral legacy, our travelers created memories that will last a lifetime.

What an unforgettable evening!

The Heart & Heritage Crew had the privilege of celebrating Rod's 50th Birthday surrounded by friendship, culture, laughter, music, dancing, and the incredible hospitality of Ghana. From traditional drumming and cultural performances to great food and meaningful fellowship, this was more than a birthday party—it was a celebration of life, heritage, and community.

One of the things that makes our journeys special is that every experience goes beyond sightseeing. We create opportunities to connect with people, culture, history, and each other in ways that leave lasting memories.

Day 8 of 14 – The Naming Ceremony 🇬🇭

Today was more than a cultural experience. It was personal. Emotional. Spiritual.

Members of the Heart & Heritage Crew participated in a traditional African Naming Ceremony in Ghana — receiving names connected to identity, ancestry, purpose, and spirit. For many, this moment represented a reconnection to something deeper than travel.

The drums. The prayers. The elders. The white garments. The energy in the space.

This was not tourism.
This was remembrance.

Some smiled.
Some reflected quietly.
Some fought back tears.

But everyone left changed.

Day 7 of our Heart & Heritage Journey brought us face-to-face with the legacy of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah — a man whose vision for African liberation and unity still echoes across the continent and throughout the Diaspora today.

Walking through the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Museum was more than a history lesson. It was a reminder that freedom, identity, culture, and purpose are deeply connected. Our group reflected, learned, asked questions, and honored one of Africa’s greatest visionaries together.
