Previously it was angst, feelings of desolation.
I've reached feelings of peak but never got this high.

Sweaty palms
Everlasting thoughts of bliss
The realm...of your existence
Is like a sweet dream, sweet 💋 kiss.
I don't mean to bombard you with
My emotional trappings but you see
You have to understand
Before yooooouuuu...

I was pouring love
Into a wishing well that was constantly
Running dry.
So excuse the drip
From my showers of love.
What you give
I've been void of.
Mind says play it cool
Body wants to soak you up
Like a sponge.
There's no denying
We got a connection like a telephone line.
When we hug,
When I open my eyes,
Its like elapsed time.
Somewhere in life love...
We were intertwined..
Kinetic energy like a taste
I want to savor for a long while.
I'm just going to capture the moment like a framed shot and keep this smile.

He pi**ed on my face and told me it was lemonade.
I am no dummy so
Now everything you say I will take it in vain.
You told me s**t was sugar but gave me vinegar and pain.
You getting rich
But I'm the only one paying
Price is too rich for me
When I have to trade
My heart that's just crazy.
You got it twisted though
Stupid isn't what I was raised to be.
