We are proud to announce the opening of Emory University Hospital's new 15-bed Cardiovascular Transplant Intensive Care Unit (ICU), designed to care for patients with some of the most complex heart and lung conditions.

By expanding access to advanced transplant, cardiac and critical care services, this new unit will help more patients receive the specialized care they need, when they need it most. As the fifth patient care area to open at Emory University Hospital this year, it represents our continued commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve.

Through expertise, compassion and innovation, we're creating more opportunities for healing, recovery and hope.

Prostate cancer is most treatable when caught early. Accessible screening matters.

The Emory Winship Cancer Institute's mobile prostate cancer screening unit is providing free prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood tests for patients, Emory Healthcare employees and community members.

📍 Sept. 2, 8 a.m. – noon at Emory Decatur
📍 Sept. 16, 8 a.m. – noon at Emory Hillandale
📍 Sept. 30, 10 a.m. – noon at Emory Long-Term Acute Care

Walk-ins welcome. Results available on-site within an hour, or shared confidentially through MyChart or phone in three to five days.

Join us this August for a meaningful conversation about the importance of organ donation during our CEO Community Breakfast and Conversation, held in recognition of National Minority Donor Awareness Month.

The discussion will feature transplant experts and community leaders sharing how organ donation can save lives and help address disparities in transplantation.

Complimentary breakfast will be served, and community members and organizations are welcome to attend. Don't forget to register.
