📣 Key Club Takes on Fall Rally 2025! 🌟
Our Key Club members had an unforgettable experience at Fall Rally, a district-wide event bringing together Key Clubbers from across Michigan!
Fall Rally is all about leadership, service, and connection — students participated in inspiring workshops, team-building activities, and community initiatives that help strengthen their leadership and communication skills.
Our members had the chance to meet other passionate leaders, share ideas, and bring back amazing new strategies to enhance our own school’s Key Club. Plus, they had tons of fun showing off their Key Club spirit!
We’re so proud of our members for representing our school with enthusiasm and dedication to service!!
Check out some highlights from the day below!

On behalf of the entire Fordson High School community, we would like to congratulate our colleague, Diana Mansour for successfully defending her doctoral dissertation!
This tremendous accomplishment is the culmination of years of rigorous research, dedication, and hard work.
Dr. Mansour's dissertation, titled "Translanguaging and Belonging: Arabic Speakers in a US Secondary Science Classroom," is especially relevant and meaningful to our school and our diverse student population. Her research offers invaluable insights into how we can better leverage the linguistic resources that students bring into the science classroom to foster a deeper sense of belonging and enhance academic achievement.
This research influences and improves instructional practices, particularly as we strive to create an inclusive environment where all students feel seen, valued, and capable of reaching their fullest potential.
Her commitment to educational excellence and her focus on our students' unique needs are truly inspiring.
Congratulations again, Dr. Mansour !! We are incredibly proud of you!

Care to the Core is a day every year when the district showcases different tools they use to reduce bullying, improve school climate and culture, and strengthen social-emotional learning for students. This year, Fordson students celebrated the "Expect Respect" theme all week including coming together to decorate the sidewalks around the school with messages of positivity and respect.
