Today was something special. 🥹💚

The Pickle Festival wasn’t just a great day for Kindred Roots—it was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community chooses to shop small.

We sold over 100 artisan loaves and 50 jars of butter before noon, and while I’m heartbroken for those who stopped by after we sold out, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

Every loaf, every jar, every conversation at the booth… it all happened because you chose to support local. When you shop at a market, you’re not just buying bread or pickles or flowers. You’re helping families chase dreams, pay bills, grow businesses, and keep creating the things they love.

To every person who came out today—whether you bought from me or another vendor—thank you. Your support ripples farther than you know.

The Kindred Promise 🤍

Before I sell it, I’d proudly serve it at my own table.

That means nearly everything you’ll find at my booth was baked, whipped, or prepared within 32 hours of market day.

Not because it’s the easiest way…
Because it’s the right way.

Fresh bread.
Fresh butter.
Fresh cookies.
Fresh scones.
Fresh yogurt.

If I have bread left over, it becomes croutons or it goes back into our community—not onto next week’s table.

That’s my promise to you.

🌿 Taking care of business… Kindred Roots style! 🌿

When I first started Kindred Roots, I was baking under Florida’s cottage food laws with one simple dream: to bring people around the table through good food made with care.

Today, I’m so excited to share that Kindred Roots is officially a Florida state-certified bakery! 🤍

This milestone means we’ve met state inspection and food safety requirements, allowing us to expand beyond cottage food and bring you even more handcrafted, small-batch products—including refrigerated favorites like our new housemade yogurt, specialty desserts, and so many ideas I’ve been dreaming about for months.

While our certification has changed, our heart hasn’t.

Every loaf is still mixed by hand with intention.
Every recipe is still made in small batches.
Every market morning still starts with gratitude for this incredible community.

Thank you for supporting a dream that has grown far beyond what I imagined. Whether you’ve bought one loaf or have been cheering us on since day one, you’ve been part of this journey.
