Listen to stories and enjoy rhymes at your local park. Bring your lunch or simply enjoy a summer day outdoors. July storytimes are held at Shullgate Park.
DIY Dinosaur Clay Model Kit
Monday, July 20 • 12:00–1:00 PM • New Lebanon Branch
Celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Challenge by creating a clay model of a prehistoric dinosaur. Explore dinosaur skeleton structures, then use clay to build your own dinosaur form. This program is intended for teens ages 12 and up. All materials are provided.

Benjamin Sledge is a wounded combat veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and two Army Commendation medals He was interviewed by Bryan Suddith, the Deputy Director the Montgomery County Veterans Service office in Dayton and the Mayor of Kettering. He spoke about trauma, mental health, and resources to support our veterans and their families.
