Where are our Poodle lovers?

Hi everyone. My name is Junebug but my foster mom calls me Junie or sometimes Junie B Jones (I dont know why she calls me that). I am 4 years old and looking for my forever home. Let me tell you about myself: I LOVE curling up with my foster mom - the more attention the better. When I am not being petted by her, I am on the couch - that is my spot. I take my favorite toys there, I like to eat my treats there (did I tell you I LOVE treats), and I often nap there. Being outside is something I also enjoy. I happily go out the doggy door and run the yard, chase the squirrels, and hang with the other 2 fur babies who live here. I am happy to play with other dogs but also ok as the only dog - that way I will get extra pets. I also like taking walks on a leash and smelling new things. My foster mom says sometimes I pick up too many things around the house (socks, gloves, paper, clothes, etc.) I am getting better about that and when foster mom goes places, I try to leave things alone. I am a good eater - I like a little topper on my kibble - but who doesnt 🙂 I would be an awesome new roommate. Just give me a chance.

Dear friends,
We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts. Our sweet Poppy, a beautiful 4 years old miniature poodle from a back yard breeder, has recently been diagnosed with heartworm disease. This news has hit us hard, but we are determined to get her the care she needs to become healthy and strong again.
Poppy is such a sweet soul. She is quiet, gentle, and full of love. She adores chewing on her bones and hoarding all of her toys. She is slowly learning to play with other dogs, and every small step she takes fills our hearts with hope. But right now, she is facing an uphill battle with her health.
The treatment she needs is expensive and will take a couple of months, but we are hopeful that, once complete, she will be able to live a long and healthy life. Afterward, she will need to stay on heartworm prevention for the rest of her life, ensuring her heart stays safe.
We are committed to giving Poppy the care she deserves, but we cannot do it alone. We are asking for your help with the cost of her treatment, which is approximately $1,000. Every little bit helps, and no contribution is too small.
