Today, the Mosaic of Hope was unveiled on the campus of the Hope Center! The Leadership Dayton Class of 2021 has been working on this piece in collaboration with many community partners throughout their program year.

Thank you to the Hope Center team and Learn to Earn Dayton for allowing the Leadership Dayton Class of 2021 to come alongside and support this project.

The Leadership Dayton Class of 2021 needs a little help finishing up their class project! We're inviting any Leadership Dayton program graduate to help them finish up on Monday, July 19 and Tuesday, July 20. The shifts are short, 2 - 3 hour commitments.

The newest members of the Leadership Dayton Alumni Association - the Class of 2021!

Erin Davis '20 and Helen Jones-Kelley '96 were recognized by the Junior League of Dayton with the Katherine Kennedy Brown Award and the Sally Riffle Award for Innovative Leadership.

Congratulations from Leadership Dayton!

The Class of 2021 participated in a Straw Rocket launching competition today during their monthly day session. One group successfully launched their rocket over 20 feet!

The Class of 2021 will graduate in June after a hybrid year of learning together. Thank you to Leadership Dayton alumna Diane Farrell ‘10 for facilitating the activity!

Betsy is a 1983 graduate of Leadership Dayton. Congratulations again, Betsy!

North Wilkinson Street, renamed Betsy B. Whitney Way in 2019, is named after well-known local philanthropist, Betsy Whitney, in recognition of her being the longest-serving volunteer at the YWCA Dayton.

Betsy, a longtime Dayton Foundation donor, current Marketing committee member and former member of the Governing Board, has been associated with numerous charitable organizations supported by The Foundation. A devoted music lover, she is an advocate for the Dayton Philharmonic and Dayton Performing Arts Alliance. She also was recently inducted into the Dayton Region’s Walk of Fame.

Without Betsy’s love and dedication for Dayton and its charities, the city would not be where it is today. Thank you, Betsy, for your service!
