A huge thank you to Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway for presenting the Five Rivers MetroParks Foundation with a generous $5,000 check today following their Earth Month fundraising efforts throughout April. Foundation Board Vice President Deb Hunt and Five Rivers MetroParks Chief of Philanthropy Alexis Larsen were on hand to accept this generous gift.

Partnerships like this help us protect green spaces, expand access to nature, support environmental education and continue creating places where our community can connect with the outdoors for generations to come. We’re incredibly grateful to Hollywood Casino for investing in the parks and helping make a difference right here in the Miami Valley. 🌎💚

Meet Evie!

One of the adopters of Buckeye at the Carriage Hill MetroPark Riding Center. Evie has a deep love for animals and dreams of one day becoming an animal doctor.

Knowing about this passion, Evie’s great-grandparents brought her to the riding center and had her choose a horse to adopt. To celebrate this special moment, they also created a custom 3D-printed frame to recognize the adoption and commemorate Evie’s connection with Buckeye.
