NorCal Bats strives to educate people about the important roles bats play in the ecosystem. We lead presentations to libraries, schools, and environmental programs as well as answer many questions about bats. Also, NorCal Bats provides wildlife rescue for sick injured and orphaned bats.

Another state, our neighbors to the north. You may see postings that there is recovery. Those are exaggerated. The fungus is still spreading, it is still killing bats. Although some species haven't been affected, others are devastated. One baby, once a year. 90+% loss in some species.
If you watch the video, you may notice they used fruit bats rather than bats native to Oregon. But at least the words and the article are accurate.
