Riverside Referrals, a networking group located in Davenport, Iowa, is a collection of individuals and businesses in the Quad City Area that meet on a weekly basis to network with one another and pass referrals. Our group is comprised of one member per business classification to eliminate competition among the group. We meet every Wednesday at 8:00 AM (except the last Wednesday of every month), at
Ross's Restaurant in Bettendorf . Riverside Referrals helps members grow their businesses through a positive, fun, and professional environment that not only contributes to individual member’s success in their respective careers, but also fosters friendships outside of business. What We Do
Every day, as our members go about their business and personal affairs, they are actively searching for potential referrals for other members in the group. When they find one, they provide the applicable member’s business card to the potential referral. Then each week when the group meets, the members provide each other with the names of the referred person that potentially need a good or service from that member. The group keeps track of the status of the referrals, and if a sale results, the stats are
recorded to measure how our group progresses. Group members also take time each week to meet with other members to learn more about their businesses and how to provide them more referrals. Philosophy
The three principles that make our group successful are member accountability, trust, and commitment to helping other group members grow their businesses. As a group, we hold all members accountable for active participation in the group, providing quality referrals to other members, and following up with referrals that are received. Additionally, our success is rooted in the trust we have in one another to exercise a high degree of skill and care handling the business needs of our referred customers and
clients. Finally and most importantly, our members strive to help grow the businesses of the other members before their own, which ultimately helps everyone in the group. Because of these three principals, we believe we have formula for networking success that achieves measurable results for our members.
