We have EXCITING news! This year we will be offering a youth (1st-6th grade), competition track and field team. April 5-May 4. Eastern Shore Track Club will participate against Bayside Academy, Bayshore Christian and possibly three other participating programs.

COST: $150 per athlete ($130 If you already have a red and white race jersey from cross country)

Attention Cross Country Parents!

I am super excited for our first meet! (Thursday, Aug 28)
The meet is at the Bayside Sports Complex on Hwy 64
Here is our time schedule. Please use this time schedule for the meets going forward based on changing start times, adjust accordingly based on first race time.

5:15 Pick up jersey, race bib (number) and tracking chip at team tent
5:30 Team picture at tent
5:35 Warm up drills at red cones
5:45 Go to the bathroom, double check laces, get a drink
6:00 Girls race 1500m
6:15 Boys race 1500m
6:30 Awards, Top 10 in each age division are recognized (1st,2nd) (3rd, 4th) (5th, 6th)
***Be sure to turn in your timing chip after every race***

Make sure your athlete has something light to eat an hour to an hour and a half before race time. (examples: PB and J, apple and protein bar, banana and granola bar) Stay away from dairy or anything too heavy.

Parents, please be aware of your surroundings while spectating. I have watched parents walk right in front of runners on the course because they weren't paying attention.
