Our Palmer surveying staff is mentoring the University of Massachusetts’ ASCE Surveying Team. This new student organization is preparing to compete in the annual American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) UESI Surveying Competition. The team’s co-captains met with staff surveyors Tucker Humphrey, S.I.T. and Alexandra Tsiounis at a UMass Amherst career fair and then visited our Palmer office to discuss their project and review their topographic map with Gregory Gould, P.L.S. The map will eventually be submitted to the Rochester Institute of Technology for evaluation in the competition.
