Week 1 Day 1 of our athlete’s functional phase is officially underway! 💪🏻
During this 8 week phase, our athlete’s will be exposed to a variety of exercises including agility drills, plyometrics, full body strengthening circuits, and conditioning. The primary goal of our functional phase is for each athlete to master basic movement patterns with higher volume exercises which in turn will provide more stimulus for hypertrophy.
Our functional phase focuses on movement patterns - not specific muscle groups. By doing so, indirect core work is almost always an added benefit. We also strategically sprinkle in some speed and conditioning work to ensure our athlete’s cardiovascular health is in optimal condition!
