In the wake of the devastating LA Fires, the emotional and physical toll on our community has been immense. At AlterCareLine, we knew the need for support would be great — and our Crisis Counselors rose to meet that need with heart, presence, and unwavering dedication!

Today, we humbly share that in only 81 days since the disaster, we have surpassed 10,000 encounters — through community outreach and online support — offering care, comfort, and connection to those who needed it most!

This milestone is more than a number. It’s a testament to the power of human connection, the importance of showing up, and our commitment to be there — during the crisis, and beyond it.

We are grateful to partner with the California Department of Social Services, whose support has empowered our dedicated teams to mobilize, connect, and respond with compassion and effectiveness when it’s needed most.

We are deeply thankful to our team and our community partners. And we are not stopping here. The momentum continues!

Today, we celebrate and extend our immense gratitude to the incredible Crisis Support Counselors who are completing their orientation at AlterCareLine! These compassionate individuals are stepping forward to bring hope, healing, and human connection to those devastated by the recent LA Fires.

As a proud contractor for the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and a partner with the Crisis Counseling Program (CCP), AlterCareLine is mobilizing resources to provide no-cost mental health support, crisis counseling, and guidance for rebuilding lives. Beginning February 1st, our counselors will be in the field, ensuring that no survivor faces this journey alone.
