Wow…
The last two weeks here in Mongolia have been full of stories—too many to do justice with the brain power and tools I have on hand right now. I’ll save those for a future podcast. For now, I simply want to express my heartfelt appreciation.
To my wife, Amber – You made this trip possible. You’re the best partner a man could hope for, and I’m beyond blessed that your taste in men is… questionable. I adore you, and I can’t wait to be home.
To my parents, Jack and Karen – You shaped the person I am today, and your unwavering support drives me through every hardship.
To my kids—Phin, CBass, Sterling, and Axel – You were my fuel through every challenge. I wanted to make you proud, and I hope I have.
To my family and friends – Your encouragement before and during the race humbled me and gave me strength.
To my business and riding mentors, especially Carl Bouckaert and Denny Emerson – You didn’t just help me achieve my dreams—you helped me learn which dreams are worth chasing.
To the horses – The ones I rode in this race and all those before. Horses have been my passion since I was six years old. I hope I can inspire others to see their beauty, no matter the sport.
