From Creative Director to New York Times bestselling author, storytelling has always been at the center of Katie Bernet’s work.
TAI alum Katie Bernet, was a former creative director and copywriter at Dallas agencies TRG and LERMA/.
Her craft is carried into her debut novel, Beth Is Dead, a New York Times, USA Today, and #1 Indie bestseller.
She emphasizes that Temerlin Advertising Institute encouraged her to be “curious, confident, and boldly creative,” a mindset that continues to shape her work today.
Bernet gives tips on what agencies look for in creatives, shares her favorite campaigns, and reflects on her journey from advertising to bestselling author.

This semester, Andrew Elliott's Internet and Mobile students didn't just study digital marketing, they practiced it. 📱💡
Partnering with 3i Fulvic, Australia's first fulvic trace mineral concentrate, students audited the brand's digital presence, executed campaigns, and developed strategic recommendations from the ground up.
