You see this Chart right here . I receive many questions asking : Hi is it true once you file four kids you really don’t get credit for the fourth one ?

Here’s the thing a lot of individuals get this confused. This question is asked a lot. The IRS has its rules that apply . You can claim tax credits for all of your qualifying children, including the fourth one and beyond.

For example:

• The Child Tax Credit allows you to claim up to $2,000 for each qualifying child under 17, with no cap on the number of children.

• For the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), while you can list all your children, the credit calculation maxes out at three qualifying children. So, having more than three won’t increase your EITC, but your fourth child still helps in other areas.

A lot of individuals get these to credits confused . I hope I broken it down for you to understand properly how this goes and how you dispersed your credits to maximizing your refund.

Remember EITC Credit means the jobs you have actually WORKED .

This February marks six years in this field, and I’m so excited to continue helping business owners and employees with financial literacy and tax planning.

Many of you may have thought beauty was all I did, but there’s much more to my story that I’ve kept private—until now. As 2025 begins, I’m ready to share more about this other part of my life and the years I’ve spent working in finance.
