In 1972, residents of several West Dallas neighborhoods united to open a community clinic in a portable building to serve a population disenfranchised from the services of the city due primarily to language and cultural differences. LBU Community Clinic (LBU) has flourished remarkably over the past 43 years. Nearly 30 clinicians provide care to over 25, 000 patients through 84,000 visits. Patients

We are delighted to welcome our new Chief Operating Officer, LaCal Bates (front row, center), to our leadership team. LaCal brings a great deal of hands-on experience in clinic settings, and was promoted from her role as Senior Director of Operations. Celebrating her promotion, Iris Chu, Joleen Bagwell, Leonor Marquez, Dr. Sharon Davis and Jaunita Aguirre.
