Welcome to Cultivating the Spiritual Mind with . To cultivate , simply means to nuture and help grow. In order to cultivate anything, it will require 4 principle actions: commitment, care, consistency and consideration. We will call them the 4'Cs of Cultivation.

Religious and wordly thinking, alike, alienates the mind from the spirit, but according to scripture, God created us in His image and likeness. (Genesis 1:26). God, Himself thinks.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

In another place, the Apostle Paul exhorts the church of Phillipi in this way, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus." Philippians 2:5

God is thoughtful concerning you and I. And He wants us to be thoughtful concerning Him, just as Christ was when He was in the earth.

In this 31 Day Devotional we will discover the ways in which the Lord cultivates our spiritual mind to bring us life and peace.

The mind is not a separate thing to be disposed of but a vital part of our ability to worship God in spirit and truth.

Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your MIND." Matthew 22:37

Jesus did not exclude the mind from the invitation to love Him. He, in fact, included the mind with the heart and the soul. The ministry of Christ influences the mind, in the same way He adjust, transforms and reconciles the heart and soul.

The faculty of the mind is an instrument that under the influence of Holy Spirit is effective and powerful in helping us grow in the knowledge, wisdom and grace of God. A mind that has been enriched, nurtured by the word is the perfect soil to grow faith in. The fruit of a cultivated spiritual mind is abundance in all areas of our lives.
