Infidel Rising is a progressive/power metal band in the genre of Myrath- Fates Warning-Wintersun-and Rhapsody. The music is heavy,with classical symphonic and ethnic overtones... and lyrically is thought provoking and or positive.

Our debut album “The Torn Wings Of Illusion” was released 10 years ago today. This was a culmination of everything we as individuals had been working our whole lives for. It stil stands as a career highlight for me personally. It’s funny to think that when I joined up with Travis to form this band some people questioned it telling me he couldn’t sing. “He who laughs last” as they say:)-Wayne

Hey guys, it is with great sadness we have to announce the departure of our esteemed keyboardist Aaron “The Doctor” Walton. Doc has reached a point in his life where changes and other life commitments make taking time for the band an impossibility. It’s understandable and we get it.
We want to thank Doc for everything he’s contributed through the years and we wish all the best for him in the future. Just like Rafael he will always be a part of the IR family,
