I grew up in Northern Kentucky, in the shadows of Cincinnati, Ohio. My hometown was a blue collar industrial town. The population tripled during the day when the factories were running and much smaller in the evening after the workers commuted back home. In 10 minutes in one direction you could be in Downtown Cincinnati. Home of Procter & Gamble and the Cincinnati Reds. Ten minutes in the other direction, you were in some of the most beautiful farmland and country in the Midwest. Like most young boys, my heroes were sports stars - Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Kenny Anderson, Roger Staubach. They took care of their business on the field with grit and determination. They were clutch players. Their teammates knew when it counted, these men would come through. Professionally, I spent over 25 years in marketing and advertising before getting into real estate. I worked for an advertising company, TV and radio stations, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Caesar’s Casino and even had my own marketing company. When our daughter developed a postpartum illness, we had her and the kids move in with us. I left my job to help care for them, which led me to pursue a long-time interest in real estate. I earned my license, joined a local brokerage, and committed to building a career focused on helping others. During COVID, my wife was offered an executive position to join a national addiction treatment organization headquartered in Dallas. It was an exceptional opportunity we both felt couldn’t be passed up. Moving from Kentucky to Texas was a big change. I didn’t know anyone and had only been there once before. Shortly after arriving in Dallas the Big Freeze hit and knocked out our power and burst the pipes in our rental. Despite the rough start, we’ve settled in, love the area, and are excited to be North Texans. I concluded my business in Kentucky while getting my Texas license. I joined the Ebby Halliday team in Southlake, a team of top producers. I love being able to help people “right size” their lives. Whether it’s a first home, an investment, their “forever home” or simply a move closer to family. Nothing is more satisfying than knowing I’ve helped my clients improve their lives through real estate. One of the core reasons I believe my clients refer me to their friends and family is that from day one, I worked in their best interests, helping them get the best price and terms, in the shortest time possible with less stress. Individually, I strive to be a top professional in my field. I believe knowledge is power. To that end, I’m continuously growing my knowledge and expertise, and improving my systems for greater efficiency so that I can give my clients the best representation available.
