ltural shaming. Being shunned by family and unwanted in the society, their only hope is The Opportunity School. The three school buildings are very old and dilapidated. The school's property has been ravaged by monsoon flooding year after year. The Opportunity School receives contributions from the neighboring churches and organizations in Chennai, India for the operation of the school, but nothing is left over for renovation of the buildings. So, we at SOSMC are raising funds to renovate the Opportunity School and lift the buildings 5 feet up and away from the flood waters. We have completed one of the three buildings, and are raising funds for the final two. We would be very grateful to receive your donations, helping us in this worthy cause of creating an environment of opportunity for these children.
