i've been on a much needed IG break for the last six months due to my love/hate relationship with this app (IYKYK 😉) but i'm so excited to be back sharing what i love with people that i love!

🗣️ i'm a pediatric speech language pathologist working with k-12 students in the school setting
💍 i've been with my husband for the better part of a decade and he is my constant source of encouragement + joy
✏️ my business is dedicated to all things related to disability awareness, inclusion + character education to help parents raise kind humans
📚 i write children's books that feature characters with disabilities because
🌷my favorite things include: reading, DIY, tacos, the ocean, and a good old fashioned margarita

“Something is wrong with the baby.”

I felt like I had just been punched in the stomach. I held my breath as the words my midwife was speaking just trailed off into the distance. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! I was so young and in perfect health, how could this be happening to me?
