Congratulations to these Beacon Hill culinary servers! 🎉They all earned a team member scholarship from the Beacon Hill Foundation, the community’s chapter of The Lifespace Foundation.

Congratulations to four of our outstanding servers who have received scholarships from the Beacon Hill Foundation!

⭐️ Gilliam Harris joined us in June 2024 and plans to study human resources at the University of South Carolina. Her experience at Beacon Hill sparked a passion for caring for others.

⭐️ Kimberly Aguilar began serving at Beacon Hill in October 2023. After moving from the Philippines with her family in 2016, she dedicated herself to academic excellence. Her work in our community taught her the importance of patience, time management, commitment, and flexibility.

⭐️ Brandon Dohmeier started at Beacon Hill in July 2024 and quickly learned that making mistakes is part of life. His time here has helped him strengthen his social skills and develop the resilience to move forward through life’s challenges.

⭐️ Yaroslav Kompaniiets began working at Beacon Hill in May 2024. Interacting with team members and residents from diverse backgrounds has given him valuable experience in collaboration. He’s also grown as a leader and developed a strong appreciation for lifelong learning.

We’re incredibly proud of Giliam, Kimberly, Brandon, and Yaroslav and can’t wait to see all they accomplish next!

It’s National Arts Month, so of course we’re spotlighting another one of our incredible culinary team members. Known for being a team player and well-liked by residents for being attentive, Claton Roberts is a Culinary Server at our Harbour's Edge community in Delray Beach, Florida.

With it being National , we’re spotlighting another one of our incredible team members. A CNA at our Friendship Village of Bloomington community in Bloomington, Minnesota, Fransisko Bigirwamungu became a CNA as a meaningful way to serve people directly while continuing his career path in healthcare.

As a CNA, Fransisko feels that he and others in this role are able to provide comfort and be an advocate. “We often serve as the eyes and ears for the rest of the care team; noticing small changes can make a big difference in someone’s well-being,” he said.
