The Smart Project
We offer virtual and in-person workshops for 8th - 12th graders from underserved backgrounds who want to grow as artists, pursue higher education in the arts, or enter artistic careers. Students that are able to engage with our workshops will learn about various art forms and concepts, gain hands-on experience in creating art, and the opportunity to work alongside our Teaching Artists. has one of the most beautiful art classrooms we’ve ever seen in our lives. Their entire fourth floor is dedicated to the arts, and they have an incredible art teacher. The principal is amazing. The students are awesome. We cannot wait to work with them, like wow!
There’s so much beautiful natural light, a stunning gallery space, and a dedicated ceramics room. We hope they continue creating forever. Their teachers and admin are amazing too. Wow, PS the new library is beautiful!
