We have a new section to our publication!!! We are proud to announce a weekly column from Dr. Kenneth Bridges, a Grand Prairie native son and history professor will be featured weekly on The Prairie Republic in a new section - The Texas History Minute!

This section is devoted to Texas history. Some things you may know but most of it is going to give you some interesting facts and stories about our great state and the people that have made it great!

Stories will come out weekly, be sure to share these with 7th graders and their teachers!
