The Family Health & Development Lab is located in the Department of Psychology at SMU. The goal of this work is to better understand how families get along from day to day and how family functioning is related to family members' mental health and well-being.

Looking for 10-17 year old children with autism and their families to participate in a paid research study! If you have a child with autism in this age range, sign up to participate in the Couples & Kids with Autism study taking place at SMU or TCU (you choose the best location for you!) and help us learn more about families of children with autism! 👪🏾
➡️ What's involved? Visit us at either the SMU or TCU campus with your child 3x over 6 months. Evening and weekend appointments are available and we provide free parking and free childcare. Families are paid up to $280 for participating!
