I was scrolling through my client galleries yesterday and decided these cuties needed a spot on my feed because I mean why not 😍

Quick story about this day - when Sarah inquired she specifically requested my favorite location ever, and I instantly knew we had the same vibe, because most times when I suggest this location to people they always tell me they’ve lived here their whole life and never saw it. But turns out Sarah loves this place and her and her family take evening walks there during the summer time 🥹 anyways it doesn’t stop there. The day comes and I casually let her know that we’re soul sisters as we’re chatting during the session. But she goes ahead and let’s me know she felt like we were soul sisters because we both are SLPs 🥹 love the friendships I get from this job ♥️ grateful for every one of them!

Sometimes as photographers all we get is a super pretty corner, wall or entrance to a venue that gives all the right vibes and we can create beautiful portraits for our couples like these ❤️ for me, I thought of Tuscany, Italy the minute I saw the brick and cypress trees

So let’s just pretend this was a destination wedding taking place in Tuscany 🇮🇹 instead of Frisco, TX 🥰

One of the most asked questions when on consultation calls or even itinerary reviews with my couples is almost always about my “details” portion of the agenda. Details look a lot like this and it can get more intricate and detailed (for lack of a better word) or it can be super simple! It’s what you make it which is the unique part of it 😍

Many of my clients usually walk away from those conversations saying they’re all for the detail shots, but don’t know what to put to the side for me and that’s where I usually share some tips based on my experience!

Some of my top tips for details:

• prioritize the details that you thought a little extra about

• always ask your florist for extra florals

• add whatever you want, it’s our job to make it work 🤩

Shoutout to Friday’s 🙌🏼

My days have been pouring into one another lately for some reason. It’s like the nights come and go and I feel like I’m still finishing up things on my to-do list from the day before 🥴 not a fan

I’m so excited to pack up my camera gear this weekend and shoot some fun sessions and a wedding!!!

I took this year so slow with starting my career as a SLP and moving and just trying to juggle adulthood, and I didn’t realize how much color and liveliness my role as a photographer added to my weeks til it was minimized to the level that it’s at right now 🥺 I definitely needed to slow down but so excited to continue to take on more weddings this fall 🤍
