Even though these are not my original designs, I had so much fun making them. My beloved client / friend was doing a twinkle twinkle little star themed birthday party for his son’s first birthday. She sent me some photos of the original cakes and they were so beautiful and would be perfect for the party. So I recreated the cakes using her favorite colors. And of course, LOTS of edible glitter! ⁣

I was especially excited when she asked for durian flavor. Durian is such a strange and unique fruit that if you like it, you’ll really like it. But if you don’t, you’ll hate it and want to throw up 🤣 I blended fresh durian and mixed them into my buttercream. Wow! It was delicious!!! (Even though my husband thought it was so stinky and hated it) I think I’m going to add durian to my menu 😋⁣
