Duck Team 6
Our mission is to reduce the street dog population through capture, medical outreach and placement. Duck Team 6 is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue that focuses on capturing street dogs in the DFW Metroplex. We operate mostly as a "capture team" that helps with the capture of elusive dogs and then works with other rescue groups to place a captured dog in a foster home, forever home or no-kill

This month’s Volunteer Spotlight shines on Courtnie Stoddard!
Courtnie first connected with our capture team back in November when she reached out for help with two stray dogs near her office. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to assist at the time, but after seeing the work we do, she decided to jump in and give it a try herself.
Once she joined, Courtnie dove headfirst into our mission. She shows up for as many captures as she can and brings an incredible energy every single time. Her eagerness, positivity, and dedication are truly contagious. She has quickly become such a valued part of our team.
While we’re sad to say her time in Texas is temporary, she’ll be returning home to Wisconsin this fall, Courtnie is determined to leave her mark here and she absolutely has.
We are so incredibly grateful she chose our organization to volunteer with and to share her passion with our team.
