Question to the Coffee Growers in This Group: Does climate, the use of fertilizers (organic or otherwise), and soil quality play any role in the coffee profile/notes one gets at the end? or is it only a factor of the coffee tree variety? In other words if you have two identical trees planted in two different soils and climates, would they yield beans with different notes to them?

Just received this roast from “Verve” of Santa Cruz, CA. They’re my favorite roaster and coffee shop in the whole nation... the beans are from Guatemala and smell fragrant like flowers. Cant wait to try them in the morning.
Anyone knows where to buy green coffee beans that are tested for Mold Mycotoxins?
My Behmor Roaster finally gave up with a zap: it literally blew up due to an electrical short inside it.
I wanna try and build my own roaster. I don’t feel like spending several hundreds on another roaster. If anyone has a good DYI roaster building page or YouTube videos I’d appreciate sharing it.
