Dear Cowgirl,
Take a deep breath in.
Be grateful.
Slow down.
What would you say to the people you love, if this was the last time you had to say anything at
all?
Figure it out, then say it before it’s too late. It is worth it.
Say no to things that do not set your soul on fire.
Say yes to adventures, and yes to dancing in the kitchen. Every time.
Take dinner to your older neighbor, call your grandparents. Just because.
Give them the gift of time. Sit and listen.
You won’t always have that opportunity.
Be thankful every night for that day, even the hard ones. Especially the hard ones. There are
those who would give anything for one more day to try again.
Wake up tomorrow and smile.
Be thankful for the struggles and blessings alike.
Lend an extra smile to someone who needs it, you never know when it might be their last. ©adrianbbrannan ♡

Dear Cowgirl,
I have tried to quit more times than I can count.
I have come up with all the excuses to step back,
and be a coward. Rather than living my truth and embarking upon the mission I have been given
in life.
Some of my excuses might be familiar to you….
“I simply can’t do this”
“I don’t have time”
“People are mean”
“I’m so stressed”
“I’ll fail”
“I’m tired”
“What about self care?!”
“I deserve a break.”
All those excuses sound great for a moment or two.
They sound great right up until the point
you realize NOTHING changes unless you change first.
You won’t be able to accomplish much
unless you work harder. Until you put in longer hours. Until you push. Until you make sacrifices.
People are mean. Yes, so what?
You know who you are. Be that person and don’t take B.S. from anyone.
Stress is real and can be dangerous. Learn to use balance.
Seriously. Of course you’re tired. Life is hard.
I know it sounds harsh, but quit whining and be better. Try harder.
Self care doesn’t always mean bubble baths and face masks.
Sometimes it means standing back up again after being knocked down, smiling, and hitting back harder.
Dear Cowgirl, I get it. Life is tough.
But you are tougher.
Don’t you dare give up on me now. ©adrianbbrannan ♡
