Today, April 15, would have been Corrie ten Boom’s 134th birthday. She is still loved and revered for her courageous acts of Christian kindness when she and her family hid Jews from their enemies during World War 2. Eventually Corrie, her dad and her sister were caught hiding Jews and were sent to prison. Corrie used the time in prison to encourage the other prisoners and introduce them to Jesus. After being released, Corrie traveled the world telling of her experience and God’s faithfulness through it all. Truett Library currently has 35 books, ebooks and audiobooks that tell her story.
Today we are featuring “Corrie ten Boom: The Courageous Woman and the Secret Room." Check out the book and enjoy it with your children. You may want to also check out other books from the series, "Do Great Things For God."
