I took a break…from everything…I put everything down…my son was not doing well…he was struggling. He still has bad days, but now there are more good days than bad. I’m thankful for that. He is slowly progressing and it’s great to see, but during this time I had (and still have to) dig deep mentally…I had to make an adjustment to my perception of things..A lot of times we look at things that happen to us and those we love and question why is this happening TO me? I realized I was asking the wrong question. Instead, I asked why is it happening FOR me…what am I supposed to learn…maturity is not exclusive to age, but mindset and perspective. I was looking for answers when the answer was to look within. 🙏🏾

Looking forward to getting back in the lab.
