The project connects The Montgomery Apartments at Watters Creek to the future Rowlett Trail, enhancing walkability and outdoor access in the area.

🚴 Frisco is about to unveil one of its most ambitious parks ever built. After months of anticipation, Northwest Community Park is now expected to open this September, bringing a 122 acre, $40 million destination unlike anything else in the city. Instead of traditional ball fields, the park was designed around cycling for all ages and skill levels, featuring miles of trails ranging from beginner to advanced, gravity powered downhill features, a splash pad, playgrounds, public art, shaded gathering areas, and a scenic prairie overlook showcasing Frisco's native Blackland Prairie. The park will also be able to host 5K races without closing nearby roads, adding another major community venue to the city. Officials are also planning security cameras, clear trail difficulty signage, and a grand opening celebration. With construction nearing completion, Frisco residents won't have to wait much longer to experience what city leaders are calling one of the most exciting parks ever built.
