Made With Empathy

A leader told me recently: "My team isn't resisting change. They're just... empty."
Not because they don't care.

I got to catch up with my family and old (former, not old:) college friends at the Texas Tech game a couple of weekends ago — people who knew me long before this chapter of my life.

It reminded me how important it is to pause and reconnect with where we came from. Finding time to remember and laugh at the good times and our former selves have a way of grounding us — and sometimes that’s exactly what brings fresh clarity to where we’re headed next.
