A recent report by shows how much a single person needs to make to live comfortably in 99 major U.S. Cities, and the numbers have made quite the jump from 2023. Let's look at San Francisco, for instance. It has always been expensive, but we saw the costs for a single person jump from $84K to $120K!

As things currently stand, the national average income which is around $60K means that most people residing in major metros are not living comfortably.
