We had a great trip to in Chicago! We met this year’s -QuadW Young Investigator Award recipient, Dr. Olayaode Babatunde of Memorial Sloan Kettering. We also met the Conquer Cancer – QuadW Foundation Endowed Merit Awardee, Dr. Ryan Denu of MD Anderson, who won the award for the second time. Both are incredible young scientists who are working on promising projects in sarcoma. We look forward to seeing their careers blossom!

Congratulations are also in order for Dr. Rich Gorlick of MD Anderson, our long-time partner in osteosarcoma research who was named a Giant in Cancer Care. We can’t think of a more deserving recipient!

We are thrilled to share the recipient of this year’s Willie Tichenor Arts Scholarship at Highland Park High School: Reuben Obel! He is majoring in Saxophone Performance and General Studies at the University of Michigan. QuadW Board Member Lauren Jordan, a HPHS alum, presented him with the award. We wish him all the best in this next chapter! GO BLUE!🎷✨
