Being primarily an acrylic painter, I find that color packs a punch in elevating a mood to a space. Art is a powerful tool that should transport a space from drab to excitement with movement coupled with subtle hints of texture. This was my fun piece inspired by an artist that does photography art. I wanted to do a version of it but make it a disjointed abstract. I call it Art Studio, 30x48, mixed media. This was a commissioned piece I did for a music loving couple that I believe own a bar they wanted to hang it in. I had a lot of fun doing this piece. I wasn’t sure how to do his arm position so I asked this young man at my fitness place to pose for me to take a pic. I had to scope out the gym for the right build to match Michael Hutchence.
