Cocktails as we know are the contribution of American bartender Jerry Thomas. His creativity and acute knowledge about drinks led him to the invention of mixology. The legendary Blue Blazer drink was Thomas’ masterpiece! Later many other cocktails were discovered, all based on Thomas’ work!

Yes, we are open! The hostel has been back up and operating since June. We offer private suites and have limited the capacity of our dorm rooms.

A lot has changed since we closed our doors in March. A lot has changed in just the past two weeks. A movement gained momentum and America has awakened.

We’ve taken some time to listen and learn. This time has also been spent listening to our community to better understand the hurt that the Black community is enduring now and has endured for far too long. We would like it to be known that our stance now and forever will be one against racial inequality and police brutality and we want to help be a part the change this world so desperately needs. We pledge to support this cause and continue to educate ourselves as we reopen our doors.

It’s been lonely without you. But we will be back soon! Contrary to what a article published, we plan to reopen in early June. Until then we will be working hard preparing to operate the hostel in a totally different way. To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, we will be implementing a long list of new rules and procedures. More details to come!
Our bar will launch to-go alcohol and food next Friday. We have decided to take a bit more time to reopen the bar for dine-in service as well and are in the process of applying to make use of our sidewalk along Crowdus for outdoor seating.
