As World Cup excitement continues to take over the USA, we’re looking back at a project that connected ANDRES to soccer history right here in Dallas, Texas. ⚽

In 1994, when the FIFA World Cup came to the Cotton Bowl, ANDRES served as the general contractor for the FIFA International Broadcast Center and Mall, which helped prepare Dallas to welcome fans from around the world.

More than 30 years later, the World Cup is back in the USA—and we’re proud to be part of the story that helped set the stage.

Building history. Building Dallas. Building what’s next.

Over the past two weeks, our The Episcopal School of Dallas interns gained firsthand exposure to the many facets of commercial construction and employee ownership at ANDRES.

Here's what they accomplished the past 10 business days.

⭐ Visited 5 active project sites across the DFW Metroplex, gaining field experience and seeing projects at various stages of construction.

⭐ Shadowed teams across Preconstruction, Operations, VDC, Accounting, Risk Management, Safety, and Employee Development to better understand the full project lifecycle.

⭐ Participated in leadership discussions with company executives, learning about career growth, leadership, and the values that drive our culture.

⭐ Collaborated on hands-on exercises, project case studies, and team-building activities while building relationships across the organization.

We enjoyed having these ESD Eagles in the office this summer!

Work Safe. Home Safe.

At ANDRES, safety isn't a box to check—it's a commitment to every person (and their families) on our jobsites, every.single.day.

The phrase "Work Safe. Home Safe." is often heard and read on our projects and it reflects what matters most: ensuring every team member, trade partner, and visitor returns home to their family in the same condition they arrived.

That's why safety is built into every phase of our work. Through regular training, proactive planning, daily awareness, and company-wide Safety Standdowns, we create opportunities to pause, evaluate risks, share lessons learned, and reinforce the behaviors that protect lives.

Safety Standdowns allow our teams to step away from production and focus on what matters most—people. These dedicated conversations strengthen our culture, encourage open communication, and remind everyone that no schedule, deadline, or task is more important than working safely.

At ANDRES, we believe the best projects are built by teams that look out for one another.

Work Safe. Home Safe. Every person. Every day.
