How to Style a Hat is about telling our story through the hats we wear. Nobody does this better than George, a Fort Worth native who I met in Round Top while shopping the fields for our stores. I ran into him recently and showed him the page where his beautiful hat shines bright. He teared up with joy when he saw his signature cap packed with pins collected over his lifetime. He was so happy, he invited me for a margarita that night to toast this special moment. This book has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Not just writing it, but meeting so many inspiring creative spirits during the process. I’ll never forget this magical afternoon with George and his unforgettable hat.
