Urban forestry is not just tree planting—it is a multi-phase system requiring planning, education, careful species selection based on local conditions, and long-term maintenance strategies.

Each site is selected using canopy evaluations, heat mapping, drainage patterns, and projected urban planning to ensure long-term survivability.

Post-planting care, including watering schedules, mulching standards, and general monitoring, is critical to ensuring that these investments in plantings translate into mature canopy and sustained environmental benefits.

What appears as a simple planting is, in reality, infrastructure development with decades-long outcomes.

What if one of the simplest ways to support children’s mental health was right outside their classroom?

Trees create cooler, calmer spaces where kids can focus, reset, and thrive. This Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day, we’re celebrating the power of green schoolyards to support learning and beyond--to children's well-being.

Because healthier environments grow healthier minds.

We had an incredible day at Crawford Memorial Park, coming together with our community to plant 70 trees that will grow, shade, and support this space for years to come. Every tree planted is a step toward a cooler, healthier, and more resilient North Texas.
A big thank you to our amazing partners UPS via Arbor Day, Junior League of Dallas (JLD), and CBRE for helping make this impact possible, and to everyone who showed up, got their hands in the soil, and made a difference with us. 💚
